Parks Canada's 125th Anniversary

2010 is the celebration of Parks Canada’s first National Park (Banff, of course!) 125th anniversary. The Friends of Yoho would like to celebrate this anniversary and of course Yoho’s own 125th anniversary in 2011 with a special speakers series on National Parks both in Canada and around the world (it doesn’t need to be a National Park). We need your help. Have you lived in or visited other National Parks and would like to share your experiences with others. Dig out your old slides (we still have projectors!) or photos (you’ll have to scan and make a DVD) and put together a short presentation on the places you have visited. Others would love to see the world or Canada through
your eyes.

Contact us and we’ll set up the hall usage and advertise the event.
